The Banking Sector Fiscal Year End Report
The report comprises of the Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Financial Performance, Loans and Deposits by quarter. The report is an aggregate of figures from the Basel II Quarterly Prudential Returns for Category A Retail and Non-Retail Banks & Category B Banks, with physical and non-physical presence.
Cayman Islands Banking Sector Report - Fiscal Year 2015
The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) also conducts statistical surveys of the banking sector, namely, the Locational Banking Statistics (LBS) Survey, the Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (CPIS) and the Domestic Banking Activity (DBA) Survey, the results of which are submitted to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Cayman Islands Economics & Statistics Office (ESO), respectively.
Locational Banking Statistics (LBS) Survey
BIS collects data on international banking activity on a quarterly basis from 43 reporting countries including the Cayman Islands. The data collected by CIMA through the LBS Survey is aggregated for international claims and liabilities, broken down by instrument, currency, sector, country of residence of counterparty and nationality of reporting banks. The results of the survey are published on the BIS website and can be accessed by clicking on "LBS Data" . Domestic Banking Activity (DBA) Survey
CIMA collects information from all the Category 'A' banks which is aggregated and reported in three reports - Statement of Assets and Liabilities for Retail Banks, Non-Retail Banks and Retail & Non-Retail Banks.

Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (CPIS)
The CPIS is conducted by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a tool in capturing the worlds totals and geographic distribution of the holdings of portfolio investment assets, thereby contributing to a better understanding of capital flows. Data is collected on equity securities, short-term and long-term debt securities by country of residence of issuer. The results of the survey for all participating Countries are published on the IMF website and can be accessed by clicking the following link "CPIS Data" . Data for the Cayman Islands can be accessed by changing the default Country (US) to Cayman Islands.

Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (CPIS) - June 2016
Derived Portfolio Investments into the Cayman Islands - June 2015, was compiled by using data reported to the IMF by Countries who participate in the CPIS. These Countries report the Portfolio Investment Assets (equities and debt securities) that entities in their respective jurisdictions are holding which were issued by Cayman Islands licenced entities (portfolio liabilities).
